AAP Aviation and Finnair expand long-standing Total Crew Management partnership with new route to Australia
AAP Aviation and Finnair are expanding their long-standing, integrated Total Crew Management partnership as Finnair launches daily Airbus A350 flights to Melbourne, its first-ever scheduled route to Australia. AAP’s Bangkok-based cabin crew operate the Bangkok – Melbourne sector.
The new route builds on more than a decade of cooperation, in which AAP has built a stable, experienced crew operation for Finnair across Singapore, Hong Kong, Delhi and Bangkok. Until April this year, AAP crew also operated Finnair’s wet-lease production to Australia on behalf of Qantas. With Melbourne, Finnair now launches its own route to Australia for the first time.
“This route reflects the strength of our long-standing partnership with Finnair. We are proud to have our Bangkok-based crew welcome passengers on Finnair’s first route to Australia, which I believe is a testament to the value of our growing strategic collaboration”, says Fredrik Øygard, CEO of AAP Aviation
